Have you been looking for a way to establish a more
intimate relationship with God?
Centering Prayer is a Christian meditation practice that can be traced back to early Christianity. The four workshops will be held on Zoom from 6:45-7:45 pm on:
Practitioners have noted some fruits from Centering Prayer may be the following::
a greater ability to accept difficult situations with peace and joy; an expanded capacity to accept others on their own terms without judging them or desiring them to change; the ability to love others more selflessly; and a greater awareness of the presence of God in every person and situation that we encounter (as reported in “CenteringPrayer: A Treasure for the Soul” by Joseph Sandman).
If you are interested in participating, please email Richard Cunningham, Pastoral Associate, no later than September 25.
Please schedule Baptisms by calling the Parish Office. Our Baptism Class for parents (and Godparents, if possible) is held the second Friday of January, March, May, July, September, and November at 7:00PM at the Parish Center. You must register with the Parish Office to attend.
Online giving allows you to make regular donations to the parish, either one time for special collections (e.g., Parish Improvement), regular offertory or second collections.
Prayer shawls are available for those who are in need of being “wrapped” in prayer and need some comfort in time of illness, grief, or experiencing a difficult time. Contact the Parish Office if you would like a prayer shawl for yourself or a friend, family, or co-worker, who may benefit from receiving one.
